The Art of Hand-Picking

Discovering Malbec's True Essence

When it comes to making great wine, the process of hand-picking the grapes is one of the most critical steps. It's a time-honoured tradition that requires patience, dedication, and a deep understanding of the vineyards. At Arado, we take great pride in our hand-picked Malbec grapes, and we believe it's what sets our Arado Malbec Reserva apart from the rest.

Located in the Uco Valley region of Mendoza, our vineyards sit at an altitude of 3,000/5,000 fasl. This high altitude, combined with a dramatic thermal amplitude, provides the perfect conditions for growing high-quality grapes. But, the art of hand-picking these grapes makes our Malbec Reserva genuinely exceptional.

Our hand-picked Malbec grapes are selected with the utmost care, ensuring that only the best grapes make it into our wines. Our team of skilled workers carefully hand-selects each grape, choosing only those that are perfectly ripe and bursting with flavor.

The process of hand-picking the grapes allows us to preserve the quality of the fruit and maintain the integrity of the vines. It's a labour-intensive process, but we believe it's worth it. The result is a wine that is smooth, elegant, and bursting with flavor.

Our Arado Malbec Reserva is aged 12 months in oak barrels, giving it a rich, complex flavor. It has black fruit, vanilla, and chocolate notes, with a long, satisfying finish. The wine best pairs with red meats, stews, and hearty dishes.

At Arado, we believe in the art of winemaking, and our hand-picked grapes are just one example of that. We take pride in producing high-quality wines that showcase the unique terroir of our vineyards. Our Arado Malbec Reserva is a testament to the art of winemaking, and we invite you to experience it for yourself.

We respect the wine, the workers and nature for you!
